Probably those of you who are into Minecraft have seen this already, but here it is anyway: the official piston demonstration.
Pretty exciting! I’m relieved by the fact that pistons can push other pistons; that was the detail I was really waiting to find out about. The fact that they can also act as floodgates is a sweet bonus.
I was hoping to use trapdoors to make a self-resetting shower, but they had the same problem as doors. Now I can make proper lava and drowning traps… Just waiting for the release
By the way, I was looking online for a way to track posterous comments so I know if there’s ant replies. Don’t suppose you know of any way?
I get an email whenever there’s a reply. I dunno if that’s just because it’s my page or not, though.
I get a reply notification if someone comments after me on one of these.
Okay, looks like I get a notification on the comments I make, but I like tumblr’s rss feed for comments so I could see comments on threads I haven’t replied on. Ah well, the stability of posterous more than makes up for it
