Well, it’s that time of year again! Time for me to spend most of my day playing IF games (when I should be finishing the Nemesis quest) and publicly being an asshole to the people who wrote them. Huzzah!

Jenni will be doing this as well, I expect. Probably at her other blog.

My reviews will likely be filled with spoilers, as they will not be so much reviews as my reactions as I have them while playing. Hooray for second monitors. I will try to remember to write a spoiler-free summary, which I will paste in at the top of the post and probably separate from the rest with some horrible picture of some sort.

Secondly, if a game is confusing or un-fun or poorly-implemented, or just makes me angry for no logically explainable reason, I will probably start being extraordinarily mean to it. The author, if he/she reads this, should try not to be offended. I don’t mean it personally, really. I’m sure you’re probably a nice person. I just hate your infected dental abscess of an IF game, and generally speaking, mean angry ranting reviews are more entertaining for my reading audience. This is the “Zero Punctuation Principle”.
