Olde Brooklyn Brighton Beach Black Cherry Soda. Dubious Monkey is dubious.

That’s a helluva name, isn’t it? Olde Brooklyn Brighton Beach Black Cherry Soda. I don’t know anything about Olde Brooklynne… the idea makes me think of that movie, the one with Daniel Day-Lewis and whatsisname, um… DiCaprio. Gangs of New York. Except Five Points wasn’t in Brooklyn, it was where Chinatown is now. (I know that because I set an episode of a Call of Cthulhu campaign there once.) Wikipedia says Brighton Beach is on Coney Island, though, and I saw The Warriors recently, so there’s that.

Smells: faintly black cherryish.

Tastes: faintly black cherryish. Sweet. Also, not very carbonated, though I don’t think I can call it flat. (I stuck my thumb in the top and gave it a short sharp shake to check. Yup, it’s not flat. Hang on a sec while I wipe off my keyboard.)

Meh. It’s vaguely cherry, vaguely fizzy, sugar water. Swan would not be impressed.
